Proactive Resources

Proactive Resources is funded by Far Northern Regional Center to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities.

In order to receive services for a developmental disability from Proactive Resources, you must be a resident of Butte or Glenn County and be a client of the Far Northern Regional Center.

Proactive Resources also helps with claims for Social Security benefits. Eligibility for this program does not require a developmental disability, but is based on an individual’s inability to work and/or to support themselves. Once disability benefits have been awarded, there is a fee based on a sliding scale for these services.
